much love monday

Hi everyone!
As you can see, the new blog design is up and running!  I'll probably continue to tweak things for the next week or so, but overall, it's set up.  I'd love to hear your opinions!
Here's what I'm loving this week.

pumpkin house cat halloween art
this spooky-cute pumpkin-house (found via Kristen)

this illustration perfectly describes my relationship with tea.

this photo--I can't wait for the first dusting of snow!

Description of Photo
this cutie-- I'm going to be a black cat for Halloween.  And I'll have yarn with me.  Let's face it, I always have yarn with me.

bird illustration
this beautiful painting-- the colors are so pretty.

kneading bread hands
this photo-- I love the neutral colors.  And since we just picked all the herbs in our garden before a frost, I'll definitely be making some bread soon.

Have a wonderful Monday!

  1. I love the photo of the snow, it looks so magical. Unfortunately where I live tends to get snow that turns to slush pretty quick, but once in a while we get really nice snow. I hope it snows for christmas this year, or I am going to where ever that photo was taken! x

    1. My hometown gets tons of snow-- but it usually shows up between January and March, so sometimes we don't have a white Christmas. I really hope we have one this year, it's so small-town pretty on Main Street around the holidays!

  3. It is pretty much a given that yarn would be part of your costume, that is just good planning because you never know when you will have a minute to work on that fun little project. Also the photo with the person kneading bread has made me a. want to make bread right now and b. knit another bulky sweater. also now. Also, thank you so much for your offer to help me with resources for design, perhaps I'll drop you a line when I have more time to spare.

    1. Exactly! I need to be prepared to knit between meows. I'm so glad you liked the post-- I made bread the next day! I just bought the book "Little Red in the City," by Ysolda Teague, and I want to cast on every single sweater. And you're so welcome! :)
