Good morning, sunshines!
Today I'd like to share one of my favorite collections for Fall/Winter 2013.
Let's start with a video from the presentation at London Fashion Week!
So adorable and witty.
Here's a closer look at my favorite looks from the collection.
I love this subtle take on pattern-mixing through texture.
An intarsia squirrel cardigan-- of course I love it.
The rounded notched collar and topstitched princess seams keep this feminine, and I love the bracelet-length sleeves.
I love the combination of the luxurious texture and the modern, graphic floral.
dreamy and floaty and perfect!
The peter pan collar and delicate neck darts on this coat are so sweet.

In other news, Google Reader has been discontinued. Womp wommmmp. I'm going to try Feedly to keep track of the many, many blogs I read, but if you prefer bloglovin, you can follow
Julie Rose Sews there, too.
I hope your weekend is off to a lovely start!

Lovely! I have always wanted a mustard colored coat, but have never been able to find one to buy. The mustard colored dress is also gorgeous, I like how it has an a-line shape to it (gosh I wish those would come back into style!)
ReplyDeleteOh, mustard would be gorgeous on you! I hope a mustard-colored coat finds its way to you soon. And I lovvvve A-line dresses and skirt! I consider them always in style, since at least a few show up on the runways every season.
Deleteomg the squirrel cardigan <3 I love the navy dress with the white colour too. Ah such clothes lusting!
ReplyDeleteI love the first outfit too, I wish I was creative enough to come up with something like that xx
The squirrel cardigan is what I'm coveting, too-- it's a cardigan, which I love, with squirrels, which I love! Obviously I'm going in search of a squirrel colorwork chart so that I can eventually knit myself a squirrel cardigan.
DeleteThese Orla pieces are gorge - I want each and every one!
ReplyDeleteAren't they beautiful? I love that they can be combined with each other for the vintage-y, sweet look of the show, but that each piece could also be styled with more tailored pieces. Thanks for stopping by!
